Wimba featured in Journal of Instruction Delivery Systems for its Accessibility work at Bloomsburg U
Featured in the Summer 2008 edition of the Journal of Instruction Delivery Systems, this article discusses how the use of a variety of presentation modes, including Wimba Classroom, has improved online course delivery to deaf and hard of hearing students at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. In addition to the presentation modes mentioned above, closed captioning and a videophone (VP) were added to the online courses to more fully accommodate the needs of deaf and hard of hearing students in classes led by Dr. Sam Slike and Pam Berman.
