London, UK – (May 22, 2007) – JISC RSC London, a supporter of education and research through the promotion of innovation in new technologies, recently used Wimba’s Live Classroom and Voice Tools solutions along side its VLE, Moodle, to support London e-Learning Online (LEON), a JISC RSC London web conference.
The online conference enabled delegates to get a first-hand look at a variety of tools and technologies that can be applied to an online virtual environment. The conference also brought together a range of practitioners who shared their thoughts and reflections of their experiences while also sharing good practice.

The conference was a huge success and the strand for which Live Classroom was used proved to be very popular with the delegates.”

Delegates were particularly impressed with Ron Mitchell’s (LSN London Region Coordinator) session using Wimba’s Live Classroom ‘Personalised Resources through Customisation’.
