Georgia continues to be home to many of the most forward-thinking colleges and universities in the country, particularly when it comes to technology. Though many schools have worked closely with one another, the strong Georgia post-secondary community still has room to strengthen. In this presentation, learn from Jim Wolfgang of the Digital Innovations Group how a Georgia user group is helping schools share tips, tricks, and best practices. Then learn how the Wimba Collaboration Suite is being used widely across Georgia Tech for everything from teaching the humanities to conducting some of the most challenging language courses around. Gary Shouppe of Columbus State will share his insights as well. This presentation will also explore several institutions saving thousands of dollars via online learning technologies.
