This presentation will cover a comprehensive plan for statewide professional development that the Idaho Digital Learning Academy is providing to Idaho Educators, and how Wimba Classroom has been an integral part of that plan. The presentation explores aspects of needs assessment, communication process of available resources, training and educating internal and external stakeholders, implementation, and evaluation. Learn how the Idaho Digital Learning Academy has used Wimba Classroom as a tool to open statewide communications to connect various statewide educational organizations and all state educators. Presenter Mike Caldwell has been associated with the Idaho Digital Learning Academy since February, 2003 and had been an educator in Idaho for over 10 years. Mike is the Director of Supervision and Development at the Idaho Digital Learning Academy.
