Meg Gulanick is an instructor at Loyola of Chicago's Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing where a group of professors use Wimba Classroom in graduate classes such as the Cardiovascular, Oncology and Health Systems Management specialties. She'll discuss how they offer both live and archived classes which makes Loyola feel that Wimba is an extremely cost-effective, simple way to create online classes. Then Raquel Moncado of San Antonio's Our Lady of the Lake University will tell her harrowing tale (that has a happy ending) about a fire that roared through the school last May and how the institution recovered, thanks in large part to instant communication via Wimba Pronto.
