Jason Rhode of Northern Illinois University, Lynnda Brown of Tulsa Community College, and Marcel Bechtoldt of the University of Missouri-St. Louis explain how they use Wimba to create engaging classes. As a faculty member, Brown uses Wimba Classroom for lively instruction while her colleagues at TCC use Wimba for meetings and online trainings. NIU recently integrated Wimba Classroom into Blackboard for instructional use campus-wide and Rhode's team is conducting online faculty development sessions using Wimba. And Marcel's team at UMSL Dept of Continuing Education has created on Online Development Institute which relies on Wimba Voice, Pronto and Wimba Classroom - he'll share examples of faculty who participated and created online courses that were reviewed and shared with the institute membership.
