Award Details:
The Royal Holloway College Teaching prize was awarded by the institution to Martin King and his colleague Dr. Emily Salines (Language Coordinator for French) for their project ‘Online Oral Presentations in Modern Languages – Digitizing the Learning & Assessment Experience’. The program makes use of Wimba software for capturing, assessing, marking and providing feedback on oral presentations to students in Modern Languages. This voice-enabled programme is aimed at supporting and encouraging movement from the traditional approach of recording oral presentations and obtaining feedback, and has been well received by both staff and students.
