I recently stumbled upon a clever use of the Wimba Voice Presentation tool: Using it to show YouTube clips of historic speeches. Essentially, instead of putting a plain-old static webpage in the web area, post a video clip of the MLK “I Have A Dream” speech or of FDR’s speech about entering WWII. Then have your students watch the clip and make their own vocal responses.
