Wimba

When I try to change/add metadata get this error message (see attachment).

Any ideas?

I have unistalled re installed wimba and word (using word 2007 on windows 7) and still getting error. Some recent windows updates may be the cause as has been working fine for over 12 months. I restored to before updates but again no luck and still cannot edit or add to meta data.

Wow.I have the same problem.

This is a known issue and has been sent to product development for review.  There is no estimated time available for a fix to this issue.

When submitting Metadata into Create, the follow error is displayed:

“438: Object doesn’t support this property or method”

To replicate:

In Office,
- select Wimba Create
- select Metadata
- complete all or some of the fields
- click the ‘OK’ button
- see error: “438: Object doesn’t support this property or method”

We have found that this issue is related to IE9.  If users have IE8 or revert back to IE8, this issue does not appear.
