An engaged student is a successful student.  That’s one thing educators know for certain, and this applies to students in face-to-face, blended, or entirely online courses.

How are you increasing student engagement at your school?

We, at Rocky Mount Preparatory School, provide distance learning classes through NCVPS.  Students use BB and Wimba Pronto and have been quite successful in the courses they have chosen.

We have participated in the NCVPS courses every semester, settling comfortably on Early Calendar schedules that best suit the needs of the students.

Using Ning and Wetpaint, sophomores accessed the online discussion boards and enjoyed the chat/forum discussions that would not have/did not take place during class.

Only the tip of the iceberg, compared to what’s out there!
