Overview
Wimba Connect 2010 will be March 21-24, 2010 at the fun-filled Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort in Orlando, FL! Enjoy the warm spring air and all that Walt Disney World® has to offer while learning from and networking with Wimba customers from around the world.
The Wimba Connect 2010 program will include numerous sessions, hands-on workshops, executive-focused events, keynotes, and plenty of fun. Based on your feedback, we’ve extended the final day of the conference, created a dedicated session for Wimba product announcements, added Birds-of-a-Feather groups, and created numerous options for families. We’ll even induct our first class into the new Wimba Hall of Fame for Excellence in Collaboration.

Registration Fees
Early-Bird Alumni Rate: For persons who attended Wimba Connect 2008 or 2009, our alumni registration fee is $449 per person if you register on or before December 31, 2009. The alumni rate will be $499 per person on or after January 1, 2010.
Early-Bird New Attendee Rate: For persons who did not attend Wimba Connect 2008 or 2009, the conference registration fee is $499 per person if you register on or before December 31, 2009. The new attendee rate will be $549 per person on or after January 1, 2010.
K-12 Rate: Those from K-12 institutions will simply pay $349.
Group Discounts: If four or more people from your institution attend, the fee will be $379 per person through December 31, 2009 and $429 per person on or after January 1, 2010.
Presenter Discounts: If your presentation proposal is accepted (you will be notified in November 2009), you will only pay $249. If you register before your presentation is accepted, we will mail you a refund check. Otherwise you can wait until you hear if you presentation was accepted or declined to register for the conference.
Pre-Conference Workshops: For an additional $299 you can register for one of our pre-conference workshops. These workshops will provide hands-on training that will allow you to become certified as a Wimba trainer.
Wimba Hall of Fame Inductees: Persons inducted into the Wimba Hall of Fame will be notified prior to the conference and will receive complimentary registration.
Friends & Family: Registration options include access to either one or both evening functions as well as both Keynote Addresses.
It does NOT include access to training, sessions, breakfast, lunch or breaks.
A special badge designating the “Special Event Status” for Family & Friends registrants will be required for entry into all evening events.
- Welcome Cocktail Reception (Monday Evening only ) - $75 per person, (same price for both adults and children)
- Customer Appreciation Party (Tuesday Evening only) - $100 per person, (same price for both adults and children)
Refund and Cancellation Policies: You will receive a complete refund if you cancel by 11:59pm EDT on February 18, 2010. To cancel, simply send an email to or call Matt Wasowski of Wimba at 212.813.3886. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made on or after 12:01am EDT February 19, 2010.
A credit card for payment will be required in the registration section of this website. If you are unable to pay by credit card, please contact Matt Wasowski of Wimba at 212.813.3886 or before you start to complete the registration form.
Please note that the credit card charge will be from RegOnline, Inc., and the charge will be put through as soon as you submit your registration. Discounts for four or more people attending from your institution will be applied as a credit to your card after the conference.

Pre-Conference Workshops
Each pre-conference workshop will be an in-depth, hands-on training. Refer to the Agenda section of this website for the workshop offerings. The workshops will be held on Sunday March 21 and Monday March 22, 2010.
Guests
You are welcome to bring a guest/guests to share your room but an additional $25 charge per adult (18 years or older) will be applied by the hotel for parties containing more than two adults. Please list the name(s) of your guest(s) when prompted during registration, so we may advise the hotel.
Guests may NOT attend meetings, workshops or group meals unless they have paid the full conference registration fee.
Friends & Family registration is available for guests interested in attending our Monday and/or Tuesday evening events.
Transportation
You are responsible for making your own flight arrangements we recommend flying into Orlando International Airport (airport code: MCO).
Transportation to Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts is complimentary via Disney’s Magical Express for resort hotel guests – please notify the Resort of your flight itinerary and it will make the necessary transportation arrangements. Complimentary transportation is also provided for all destinations throughout Walt Disney World Resort, including Disney Theme Parks and Disney Water Parks. These are also accessible by bus, boats and walking paths.
Disney’s Magical Express includes:
· Complimentary round-trip shuttle service, via special Disney-themed motor coaches, between Orlando International Airport and your Disney Resort
· Complimentary luggage handling - from arrival into Orlando International Airport through resort check-in
· Advance airline check-in at the resort for departures on select airlines - a great way to avoid airport lines
